Jack Gain's first short story, COMMUNISM DOESN’T WORK, was a finalist for the Aura Estrada Fiction Prize and was published by the Boston Review in 2020.Since then, his fiction has been published by the New England Review, Arts of the Working Class and American Chordata, and shortlisted for the Desperate Literature Prize.His story, PORT-BOU, was the winner of the Zoetrope: All-Story Short Fiction Competition and was published in 2022.He lives in London where he works in a library.
